The San Juan Airport (SJU) is open for limited flights, approximately 13-18 per day, from 7 am to 5 pm. Our Hertz location will be operating on these limited hours and honoring previously booked reservations. However, walk-ups and other reservations will not be reservable at this time.

Contact our Customer Care team at 1 (800) 654-4173 to cancel your reservation and begin the refund process. Please note the refund will take up to 10 business days to process.

I guaranteed my rental with a credit card. How do I ensure the cancellation fee is not charged?

Contact our Customer Care team at 1 (800) 654-4173 and advise your customer service representative of the reason (flight canceled or road closures) for cancellation. The team will ensure the guarantee charge is not applied.
